Nubuck is best cleaned with special brushes and cleaning rubbers. Leather shampoo or foam can also be used for heavy soiling. If the suede is dry, it should be roughened again with a suede brush as this loosens the structure of the fibres. With shoes that are equipped with Sympatex , it is important not use care poducts, which could inhibit the functionality of these features.. To prevent this, the use of products containing high amounts of fat or oil is advised against, as these can impede the breathability of the outer material.
